Delmas Syrah
The 2021 Syrah is saturated purple with a savory, umami dominant bouquet: bacon fat, garrigue, olive tapenade, blackberry, minerals, and violets. The palate is densely packed with fruit (blackberry, huckleberry) with significant notes of garrigue, allspice, licorice, black truffle, forest floor, smoked meats, and stony minerality. A superbly long finish resonates richly with notes of Asian spices, bacon fat, garrigue, and lavender.

Delmas Viognier
The 2021 Viognier is a highly focused, and complex wine. Riveting aromatics of honeysuckle, nectarine, apricot, tangerine peel, saffron, and lemongrass. The juicy, vibrant palate has notes of nectarine, Meyer lemon, apricot, fig, cardamom and saffron. The signature perfumed minerality of SJR vineyard reverberates on the exquisitely long finish along with tones of apricot pit, cardamom, and lemongrass.

Delmas Field Blend
The inaugural release of the Delmas Field Blend is Grenache dominant with smaller percentages of additional Rhône Reds. The multi-vintage FB21 exudes precise aromatics of kirsch, garrigue, white pepper, lavender, and licorice. Rich and multidimensional on the palate with notes of kirsch, pomegranate, forest floor, lavender, white chocolate, cracked peppercorns, and bacon fat. The signature minerality and umami notes of SJR vineyard shine brilliantly on the very long finish.

The Peddler
The 2021 Peddler Magnum is stunning in its youth, but has all of the hallmarks of an age worthy wine. The wine’s high level of fine-grained tannins are perfectly balanced by the elevated levels of fruit and vibrant acidity.
The aromatics are highly perfumed with blackberry, garrigue, lavender, smoked meats and nutmeg. Bacon fat, five-spice, black truffle, and black olive complete the palate. Long and balanced finish, with blackberry bramble and complex salinity.
